RemarquesBecause I was in Central MA, where there is less city lights, and on the highway, I had the entire skyline in view. This was unlike any shooting star or meteor shower that I have experienced. It was incredible!

RemarquesIt was like the glow trail when you are looking at a moving sparkler, it was glowing just after the fireball passed and faded quickly
Flash terminal
ObservationYes
RemarquesI was driving, and had glanced down to change the radio, the flash drew my attention to the night sky which was open before me on the highway. When I looked up the flash was just ending and then continued to streak through the sky.
Fragmentation
ObservationOui
RemarquesOnce the flash happened, and the object continued its trajectory, toward the end and just before it extinguished, it looked like it split into two or three small trails and then was gone.
